The terminology of obstetric pelvic floor disorders should be defined and reported as part a wider clinically oriented consensus. This Report combines the input members two International Organizations, Continence Society (ICS) Urogynecological Association (IUGA). process was supported by external referees. Appropriate clinical categories sub-classification were developed to give coding definitions. An extensive 12 main rounds internal 2 review involved exhaustively examine each definition, with decision-making A report for disorders, encompassing 357 separate definitions, has been developed. It is clinically-based most common diagnoses defined. Clarity user-friendliness have key aims make it usable different specialty groups disciplines in study management pregnancy, childbirth female disorders. Clinical assessment, investigations, diagnosis, conservative surgical treatments are major components. Illustrations included supplement clarify text. Emerging concepts, use literature offering further research potential but requiring validation, an appendix.
